Who Are We?
Are we Selfish Humans or Loving Humans?
The world is made of two coexisting worlds: the Competition World, fueled by Selfish Humans, and the Collaboration World, nurtured by Loving Humans.
Selfish Humans embody a predominance of toxic behaviors over healthy behaviors, at a significant degree. Loving Humans embody a predominance of healthy behaviors over toxic behaviors, at a significant degree.
The Competition World
An illustration inspired by California, representing the true nature of most humans: selfishness at the root. Competition is its cause — wanting to be or have the most or best of something, to be acknowledged by others, in order to validate our human existence. California's small pockets of mansions surrounded by poverty say it all.

Selfish Humans
The category of humans that navigate the Competition World. They embody a predominance of toxic behaviors and flaws over healthy behaviors and virtues to a significant degree. Competing entails being acknowledged by others for being or having the most or best of something, all while preventing others from doing well, in order to validate one's human existence.
Competing is the primary toxic behavior, and the other major toxic behaviors include being dishonest, manipulating, pretending, and working hard on looking good to appear flawless to the world. Selfish Humans use these toxic behaviors as weapons to compete — and therefore do everything in their power to never reveal them.
An illustration inspired by social media influencers. They compete to become stars in their field to be acknowledged by others through admiration, attention, popularity, status, and money.

The question is: why even bother to be ethical or loving? Well first we do it for future generations, including our children because they deserve to grow up in a kind World. And second, we must remind ourselves that, we can only embody health, well-being, and happiness when we are Loving Humans.
The Collaboration World
An illustration representing the opposite of the Competition World — a place where loving humans meet to contribute to a more ethical and loving world. It is the Pure Love Center: a center of collective personal growth, because that is what life is about: growing, adding value to ourselves so we can add value to the lives of others by nurturing their well-being and happiness.

Loving Humans
The rare category of humans that navigate the Collaboration World. They embody a predominance of healthy behaviors and virtues over toxic behaviors and flaws to a significant degree.
Collaborating is the primary healthy behavior, and the other major healthy behaviors include being honest, being straightforward, being genuine, and being transparent.. Collaborating is walking toward a horizon of common goals that nurtures the health, well-being and happiness of all.

Life is about relationships — yet it is limited in time. The question is: do we really know who we are dealing with? Do we really? That is why this book exists: to ensure we spend our time with the right people — Loving Humans, ethical individuals.
